United PAC have been reliably informed that the National Television Network (N.T.N), the state owned network was intercepted by police and was made to hand over a tape which we believed to have footage of the Harold Dalson saga in Soufriere. Though it is not clear whether the confiscation was ordered by the government hierarchy, the situation is cause for concern as signs of communism are creeping stealthily into our way of life. At this end, we implore the Media Association if there is such an entity, to look into this matter as it sets a dangerous precedent in Saint Lucia. We have also been informed that other copies of the footage are available and will be made public next week, however, this incident of the police confiscation cannot be let to go unnoticed.
